DL Pocono Line Guide

Note: This guide is for the DL Pocono Line outside of Scranton. Please see the Scranton Guide for railfanning the line in Scranton.

The Pocono Line is the DL’s main moneymaker, and their busiest line. It runs from Steamtown all the way to Portland, although a lot of traffic on the line is for intermediate stops. You’ll see a wide variety of grain, rocks, frac sand, lumber, and general commodities on this line. There’s at least one train per day from Steamtown to Moscow, and in the summer the DL and Steamtown run passenger excursions on the line. Get tickets here.
